Sir Latte, Knight of the Roasted Bean

I have always been an artist and writer. Santa brought my first easel when I was in kindergarten and a red Tom Thumb typewriter arrived under the tree when I was eight. I studied art throughout school and earned my BFA and MFA in drawing, printmaking and textiles. Collage is my favorite medium.

This is my eighth public art sculpture since moving to St. Joseph in 2006. Currently, I serve lunches at Zoup! and since their neighbor is Biggby Coffee, it was a natural fit to design “Sir Latte: Knight of the Roasted Bean!” See if you can figure out the Big Surprise…it seems that “Sir” is actually a maiden!
