Local Stevensville artists, and family members, Shannon & Chris Lockman, and Sheila & 7-year-old London Krieger, have a passion for art. Often they visit art galleries, concerts/symphonies, the theatre, and classic film festivals. Inspiration is often driven from these experiences and reflect in the many art pieces created throughout the year. This also includes participating in the St. Joseph Public Art Display. This year’s project is a whimsical fish sculpture titled “Breakfast at Tiffany’s Pond.” The sculpture tells a story of a girl gifted with a special box. Once opened, she discovers a pair of fairy wings that transforms her into a magical fairy. She is then free to join her fairy friends at the magical pond.
The artists of “Breakfast at Tiffany’s Pond” are proud to present this vibrant piece to the community and visitors of St. Joe. Previous projects include:
*Hot Diggity Dogs: “On Guard”
*Barnyard at the Beach: “Playtime with Donkey”
*Lighting Up St. Joseph: “At Last”
*Splishin’ and Splashin’: “Bath Time Fantasy
*Beach Bugs: “Snail-Vador Dali”
